Position: Shift Manager, Bruce A Operations

Tracy Primeau currently works as a Shift Manager at Bruce A. Tracy is in charge of leading a group of 50 employees (mostly nuclear operators) during work shifts and approving work maintenance, engineering and procedural changes. She is also responsible for all aspects of safety – from reactor to public safety.

Since entering the industry in 1990, Tracy has held the positions of Operator in Training, Field Operator, Supervising Operator, and Authorized Nuclear Operator. Tracy’s most rewarding project to date has been mentoring young men and women who are interested in becoming Authorized Nuclear Operators and Control Room Shift Supervisors.

Tracy enjoys working at Bruce Power for a variety of reasons. “I learn something new every day and I love the people I work with” says Tracy.

Tracy holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Waterloo. She received certification as an Authorized Nuclear Officer in 2005, Control Room Shift Supervisor in 2009 and as Shift Manager in 2010.
