In the control room, Nathan works at the heart of one of Bruce Power’s nuclear station. Although, he didn’t start his career here, he managed to work his way to the top. Like most other Authorized Nuclear Operators (ANO), he started off as a Nuclear Operator in Training in 2003. Nathan worked as a Field Operator for five years before accepting a position in the ANO program in January 2007.

Through years of on-going training with a complexity of systems to learn and job shadowing other qualified Authorized Operators, Nathan became certified by the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission in 2009 as a licensed Operator. Nathan holds an Electronic Engineering diploma from RCC College of Technology in Concorde.
