Shawna Mullen

It didn’t take long for Shawna to feel part of the Bruce Power team. During her four month Human Resource co-op placement, Shawna was involved in the production of various reports to help support Bruce Power’s business plan, provide input on policy recommendations that was presented to Bruce Power’s Executive Team.
From day one, Shawn felt like part of the team. “The most rewarding project has been leading and coordinating our department’s latest benchmarking project,” says Shawna. This provided her with valuable team building and management skills. “Everyone I have worked with is quite friendly and knowledgeable and will go out of their way to help,” said Shawna.
With a Bachelor of Arts degree with a minor in Human Resources under her belt, Shawna is currently finishing up a Post Graduate Certificate program for Human Resource management at Conestoga College.
Bruce Power has provided Shawna with the practical hands-on experience while gaining valuable knowledge in many different functions within the department. “I would recommend Bruce Power to anyone; it’s a great company to work for.”
