Executive Vice President and Chief Nuclear Officer, Bruce B

Ken has more than 29 years experience in Operations and Engineering at Bruce Power. Ken was appointed as Executive Vice President and Chief Nuclear Officer Bruce B in January 2010.

Prior to joining the executive team, Ken has held several senior positions at Bruce Power namely; Station Vice President Bruce B, Chief Engineer and Vice President Engineering, Vice President Maintenance and Bruce B Operations Production Manager.

Ken’s career also included a two-year assignment in France as the Ontario Hydro Liaison Engineer to Électricité de France. Ken was previously licensed as a Bruce B Shift Superintendent in the late 1980’s.

Ken was born in Espanola, Ontario and graduated from the Royal Military College of Canada with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Ken spent four years as an Aerospace Engineer with the Canadian Armed Forces, primarily in Search and Rescue prior to joining Ontario Hydro.

Ken is a registered Professional Engineer.
