Sean was born in Regina but received his education in Saskatoon attending the University of Saskatchewan from 1978 through 1984 receiving a B.A. in History and an LL.B.
Sean delayed his articling to travel, and after articles joined the firm now known as McKercher, McKercher & Whitmore where he remained until 1993when he joined Cameco’s legal department.
