Len Clewett, Bruce Power’s Chief Nuclear Officer (CNO) and Executive Vice-President, recently presented  2017 Bruce Power–Owen Sound Attack Indigenous Youth Sports Bursaries to Sarah John, Josslyn Wright, Stephen Litt and Hailey Johnson.

Each year Indigenous community members in the Traditional Territories shared by Bruce Power are invited to nominate young people for four $750 bursaries. To be considered, candidates must demonstrate excellence in sport and community volunteerism while maintaining good grades at school.

Sarah and Hailey are from Saugeen First Nation, Stephen is a member of the Métis Nation of Ontario, and Josslyn is from Nawash Unceded First Nation. The awards were presented at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre in Owen Sound during an Attack game against the Kitchener Rangers.
