Sean McMaster

Executive Vice President Corporate and General Counsel, TransCanada Corporation

Sean McMaster is Executive Vice-President Corporate and General

Counsel with overall responsibility for the management of TransCanada’s

legal affairs, public sector relations, internal audit, and corporate

security. As Chief Compliance Officer, Mr. McMaster is also responsible

for compliance matters generally. Mr. McMaster was appointed to this

position in June 2006; prior to this, he served as Vice-President, Power

at TransCanada, responsible for executing major transactions. Until its

divestment in 2005, Mr. McMaster was President, TransCanada Power,

L.P., a publicly held limited partnership that owned power plants in

Canada and the United States.
