Bruce Power hosting Health and Wellness Fair in Kincardine
TIVERTON, ON – September 5, 2012 – For the first time, Bruce Power will hold its annual Health and Wellness Fair in the community.
The free event will be held at the Kincardine Davidson Centre on Saturday, Sept. 15, and will give visitors the opportunity to learn about health and wellness options available in our local communities.
“We decided to take this event out of the Bruce Power workplace and into the community to allow more of our employees to attend, specifically those who work shift,” said Cathy Sprague, Executive Vice President, Human Resources. “We also recognize the value in promoting healthy living with our employees’ families and the broader community.”
More than 60 vendors and service providers will participate, promoting healthy behaviours and lifestyles. There will also be a variety of demonstrations for attendees to participate in, and local radio station myFM will be broadcasting live from the event.
