Each year, Bruce Power holds its Corporate Holiday Card Contest where President and Chief Executive Officer, Mike Rencheck invites Grade 3 and 4 students from Grey and Bruce County schools to participate. Students are encouraged to create a card that depicts what the holiday season means to them. This year’s contest included more than 300 entries with the winning entry submitted by Emma Holmes, daughter of Bruce Power employee, Kim Holmes and Bruce Power retiree, Merv Holmes.  Emma won $500 for her class to purchase art supplies, a framed copy of her winning art work, an art kit for herself and a class trip to the Bruce Power Visitors’ Centre for a pizza party and movie in the Centre’s main theatre. The Grand Prize winning artwork was featured on Bruce Power’s 2016 corporate greeting card and was sent around the world and throughout Canada, to corporate stakeholders and dignitaries.
