Why should I take the time to fill out a profile rather than simply applying for specific jobs when I see them?
Once you complete a Candidate Profile, it will save you time when applying for opportunities at Bruce Power. Without a Candidate Profile, you will be required to re-enter your qualifications, skills and education for every vacancy you apply for.
Why should I release my Candidate Profile?
Releasing your Candidate Profile will allow Bruce Power to search for candidates that have specific skill sets. You have the option to lock your profile at any time.
If you are interested in a particular opportunity, please submit an application to ensure you are considered for the vacancy.
While we do search for candidates from the submitted profiles, there is no guarantee that you would be considered for any given position. That’s why it’s best to check back frequently and submit when you see a position that interests you. In the event you do not want to be contacted by Bruce Power for any period of time, you can temporarily block access to your profile under the menu item “Profile Release”.
You can re-release your profile at any time.
Do I have to apply online in order to be considered for a vacancy?
Yes, only candidates who submit their profile will be considered for the specific job vacancy. Bruce Power does not accept resumes sent by fax, email, courier or surface mail.
