The seventh Annual Hawthorne Cup was once again, a success with over two hundred golfers converged on the Saugeen Golf Club in Port Elgin and Ainsdale Golf Course in Kincardine.

One of the highlights of the tournament each year is the putting contest where individual golfers compete for the highest score to win an iPad mini. This year, proceeds from this contest went to Community Living for their respective regions.

Representatives from Community Living oversee the putting contest and cheer on participants throughout the day. As a result $1,500 was split between Kincardine and Owen Sound and District Community Living.
