As the largest employer in Bruce County, it is important for us to remain open and transparent with the communities that surround us.

Bruce Power representatives appear regularly before open councils at the county and municipal levels to update councillors and staff on the company and its operations.

We have built strong relationships with our neighbouring municipalities over the years and recently formed a municipal outreach program, which encapsulates it all.

In 2015, Bruce Power, the Municipality of Kincardine and the Town of Saugeen Shores signed a Memorandum of Understanding that provides the framework to build on our successful working relationships over the last 13 years. Through the MOU, new areas of collaboration were identified and quarterly meetings set.

Weeks later, Bruce Power did the same with the South Bruce Grey Health Centre and Grey Bruce Health Services to solidify their close working relationship

Our budding relationships with local municipalities and hospitals will encompass regular discussions on emergency preparedness, company updates, sponsorship and economic development.
