Local First Nations youth recently got up close to Ontario Hockey League action as part of a partnership between Bruce Power and the Owen Sound Attack, which is in its second year.

On Feb. 8, the youth from Saugeen and Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nations were treated to a pizza dinner before an Attack game against the Kitchener Rangers and a meet-and-greet session with an Attack player and the team mascot, Cubby.

“Our First Nations communities are an integral part of our area and its history,” said Brent Fisher, Director of Marketing and Public Relations for the Attack. “We are extremely proud to have Bruce Power as a major sponsor and to be partnering with them to benefit the children of our local First Nations communities.”
