TIVERTON, ON – Dec. 21, 2007 – Unit 4 at the Bruce A generating station returned to service today following a brief shutdown that began Dec. 19 to repair a heat transport pump.
Units 3, 5, 6, 7 and 8 all remain at high power.

Unit 4 shut down for maintenance
TIVERTON, ON – December 19, 2007 – Unit 4 at the Bruce A generating station was shut down earlier today to allow workers to perform maintenance on a heat transport pump.
The 750 megawatt unit is expected to return to service in a few days.
Units 3, 5, 6, 7 and 8 remain at high power.

Unit 8 returns to service
TIVERTON, ON – Dec. 6, 2007 – Unit 8 at the Bruce B generating station returned to service following a brief outage that began Nov. 23. The unit was shut down to allow workers to perform maintenance on the 800 megawatt unit’s heat transport system.
Units 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 remain at high power.

Unit 8 taken offline for maintenance
TIVERTON, ON – Nov. 23, 2007 – Unit 8 at the Bruce B generating station was safely taken off line today to allow workers to perform maintenance on the 800 megawatt unit’s heat transport system. It is expected to return to service during the fourth quarter.
Units 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 remain at high power.

Unit 3 returns to service following maintenance program
TIVERTON, ON – Nov. 19, 2007 – Operators returned Unit 3 at the Bruce A generating station to service today following a planned inspection and maintenance program that began Sept. 28.
During the shutdown, work was conducted on a number of systems and components that could not be accessed while the unit is running. All of these activities are intended to enhance the long-term performance and reliability of the 750 megawatt unit.
Units 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 all remain at high power.

Bruce Power reports third quarter results
TIVERTON, ON – October 31, 2007 – Bruce Power generated 9.43 terawatt-hours* of electricity while also undertaking planned maintenance programs on two of its six reactor units during the third quarter of 2007. Production is up slightly from the same period in 2006, when the company generated 9.39 terawatt-hours.
Unit 7 returns after brief shutdown
TIVERTON, ON – Oct. 17, 2007 – Unit 7 at the Bruce B generating station returned to service last night after a brief shutdown that began Oct. 14.
Units 4, 5, 6 and 8 are all operating at high power while Unit 3 remains shut down for a planned inspection and maintenance program which began Sept. 28.

Unit 7 shut down
TIVERTON, ON – October 14, 2007 – Unit 7 at the Bruce B generating station commenced an unplanned forced outage today. Once appropriate corrective actions have been completed, the 750 megawatt unit will be returned to service. Outage duration is projected at two days.
Units 4, 5, 6 and 8 remain at high power.

Bruce Power donates $50,000 to Paisley Health Clinic
TIVERTON, ON – Oct. 9, 2007 – Bruce Power will donate $50,000 to help build a family medical clinic in the village of Paisley as part the community’s ‘Healthcare is Coming Home’ campaign.
Bruce Power’s pledge, made in Paisley today by President and Chief Executive Officer Duncan Hawthorne, means efforts to raise $225,000 from within the community for the clinic have been met.
