Bruce Power has received questions from members of the public about recent polling which includes questions about emergency preparedness, evacuation routes and KI pills.

Bruce Power is not involved in the poll and received anecdotal reports by employees and people in the community that raised issue with the tone of the questions. While any organization is free to conduct public opinion polling, Bruce Power wanted to confirm this was not commissioned by the company.

Bruce Power is an industry-leader in the area of emergency preparedness and is proud of the fact that 91% of residents in Grey, Bruce and Huron have confidence the Bruce Nuclear facility operates safely, according to polling conducted by Bruce Power earlier this year. Bruce Power is transparent with its annual polling of local residents conducted each year and posts the results of the poll on its website and releases to members of the public.
