Bruce Power has now opened pre-registration for its Summer Bus Tour Program.
The program, which runs seven days a week from July 1-Aug. 31 (except for July 2 and Aug. 6 when statutory holidays are observed), will offer three guided bus tours per day, at 11 a.m., and 1 and 2 p.m.
“We set attendance records in 2017, so we expect another successful summer season at the Bruce Power Visitors’ Centre,” said Chris Mercanti, Bruce Power’s Manager of Community and Indigenous Relations. “Thanks to the increasingly popular Summer Bus Tour Program, the Visitors’ Centre has become a top summer destination along the Lake Huron shoreline. We look forward to welcoming your family, friends and neighbours this summer to the Visitors’ Centre to take in our interactive exhibits, before taking a narrated tour of the world’s largest operating nuclear site.”
Online pre-registration through our third-party booking system is recommended, as space is limited. Participants will be able to reserve up to 10 spaces for friends and family members. Simply select your preferred date and time, the number of guests and the required information for each visitor, including each participant’s full name, home address, and postal code. Walk-ins are welcome, as space permits.
Visitors over age 18 require government-issued photo identification when they arrive for their tour, while those 18 and under must be accompanied by an adult who can vouch for their identity.
