Bruce Power wins IABC award for Excellence in Safety Communication

The International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) presented Bruce Power with an IABC Gold Quill Award of Excellence in Safety Communication at the 2019 IABC World Conference in Vancouver last evening.

For more than 40 years, IABC’s Gold Quill Awards have recognized excellence in strategic communications and are acknowledged as one of the most prestigious awards programs in the industry.

“It is an honour to be recognized for our commitment to excellence in safety communication,” said John Peevers, Bruce Power’s Director of Corporate Communications. “For us, it’s about communicating the importance of working safely so we all return home at the end of every day to our families, friends and loved ones.”

“We congratulate all the Gold Quill Award winners for their work and dedication to excellence in strategic communication,” said Stephanie Doute, CAE, Executive Director of IABC. “Their success is a testament to the fact that professional communicators create solid business outcomes for their organizations.”
