Bruce Power has picked up a pair of prestigious awards, recognizing it as one of the best places to work in Canada.

For the third year in a row, it is included in a list of Canada’s Top Employers for Young People, a competition organized by the editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers, Mediacorp Canada Inc. For the second consecutive year, Randstad Canada has named Bruce Power one of the most attractive places to work in Canada.

Now in its 12th year, ‘Canada’s Top Employers for Young People’ is an editorial project that recognizes the nation’s leaders when it comes to attracting and retaining younger workers. The competition reviews a wide variety of initiatives, from mentorship to training and advancement opportunities, which are all important to younger Canadians.

Randstad Canada questions 7,000 Canadians between the ages 18 and 65, asking for their views on the country’s 150 largest companies. The companies, which are selected through national statistics agencies, cannot request to be included in the survey, making it completely independent. This year, Bruce Power was named the ninth best of the 150 companies in the survey, up from 14th in 2013.
