Visitors are encouraged to drop by the Bruce Power Visitors’ Centre for this year’s March Break program, entitled ‘Come & See what’s in Our Backyard.’

It runs March 14-18, from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m.

Hourly presentations and exhibit hall activities are planned for all ages as well as programs featuring special guests and staff. Highlights include the following:

  • Matt Cunliffe, MacGregor Point Naturalist, sharing his knowledge of local creatures in our area – complete with furs, bones and scat! Monday to Friday at 11 a.m.
  • James Turland, birder extraordinaire, sharing his enthusiasm for local and migrating birds in and around the area. Monday to Friday at noon.
  • Anthony Cheghano, Aboriginal storyteller, a revered community leader and member of the Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation. Tuesday and Wednesday at 1 p.m.

Throughout the week an ‘Exhibit Hall Challenge’ will be running with prizes for all.

Reservations not required. Admission is free, and the Visitors’ Centre is open 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
