Seven summer development students recently joined the Community and Indigenous Relations team at the Bruce Power Visitors’ Centre, which means we must be getting close to the summer bus tour season! Please join us in welcoming (from left): Eric Zinn, Kyle Kahgee, Cassandra Davidson, Robert Colquhoun, Alexandra Stephenson, Jordan Jarvis and Matthew Chegahno.

Through July and August, the Bruce Power Visitors’ Centre will be open seven days a week, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and offer two site tours every day, at 1 and 2 p.m. To reserve a spot on a bus tour, click here to access the third-party booking system. One person can reserve up to 10 spots. Select your date and time, number of guests and the required information for each visitor, including participants’ first and last name, age and home address. Visitors over the age of 18 require government-issued photo identification, while those under 18 without photo ID must be accompanied by an adult who can vouch for their identity.

The Visitors’ Centre will be closed and the bus tour program will not operate on statutory holidays in July and August.

Bruce Power will also be taking part in the Bruce County Doors Open program, which runs Saturday, June 10, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., and Sunday, June 11, from noon-4 p.m. This program is part of the Canada 150 celebrations, and informative and interactive videos and exhibits, as well as bus tours at 1 and 2 p.m. each day, will be available to the public during the event. Pre-registration is recommended for the Doors Open bus tours, as well.
