Supplier Commitment
to Strengthening Canada’s
Nuclear Supply Chain

With the current trade challenges facing Canada and impacting our economy, Bruce Power is asking its suppliers to join us in standing for a strong, united Canada by signing on to five key commitments:

1. Contributing to Bruce Power’s 95% Made in Canada commitment by buying from Canadian suppliers wherever possible and ensuring sub-suppliers do the same.
2. Building our Made in Canada nuclear supply chain by working with Canadian companies to expand our supplier base and do more production in Canada and engaging businesses impacted by tariffs to build their capabilities in the nuclear and electricity supply chains.
3. Supporting workers impacted by tariff-related job losses through retraining and targeted hiring in collaboration with our union partners.
4. Developing an integrated strategy to continue to increase spending, infrastructure and other opportunities in the Saugeen Ojibway Nation Territory and the Clean Energy Frontier Region.
5. Undertaking transformation and innovation initiatives with Bruce Power to reduce the cost of electricity and contribute to Canada and Ontario’s competitiveness by driving savings on life-extension and new build and ensuring safe, high quality, disciplined and affordable execution.
