Bruce Power donates $50,000 to Community Living Wingham & District housing campaign

Bruce Power has provided a boost to Community Living Wingham & District’s (CLWD) housing campaign with a $50,000 donation.

Facing a critical housing shortage for its clientele, the organization has launched a $500,000 housing campaign to build long-term living spaces to address the need.

“We are experiencing a severe backlog of clients seeking accommodation,” said Jim Dore, CLWD President. “Bruce Power’s donation significantly bolsters our ability to provide the accommodation and specific support our clients need 24 hours a day.”

“We value and believe strongly in Community Living’s mission of enhancing, equalizing and enabling the potential of each member of our communities,” said James Scongack, Bruce Power’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. “Fundamental to everyone’s success is the ability to have a safe, supportive and stable place to call home.”

Since 1958, CLWD has served individuals of all ages with varied developmental needs in northern Huron and southern Bruce counties. Learn more at www.wdcla.ca.
