August 18, 2026 – Bruce Power supplier partners donated $100,000 in support of local health care initiatives, including $75,000 presented at the Gran Fondo Lake Huron Aug. 15, bringing the total raised from this year’s event to $520,000 for the Saugeen Shores Hospital Foundation and Brightshores Health System.

“Bruce Power and its supplier partners stand proudly with local residents and health-care providers, contributing to long lasting benefits for the community,” said Eric Chassard, President and Chief Executive Officer, Bruce Power. “The Gran Fondo is a special event that raises much-needed funds for essential hospital equipment in the region, and we’re thankful to our supplier partners for their continued support.”

Raising more than $2.1 million since 2018, this annual cycling event is a much-anticipated community movement that brings together individuals, teams and families of riders to raise funds in support of local health care.

“We are incredibly grateful to Bruce Power and its supplier partners for their continued commitment to Gran Fondo Lake Huron and to local health care across our region,” said Tracy Murray, Executive Director, Saugeen Shores Hospital Foundation. “Their support goes far beyond sponsorship. It brings people together, inspires others to give and helps turn one remarkable day of riding into meaningful investments in the care our communities rely on. We simply could not achieve the impact of Gran Fondo without Bruce Power and the many suppliers who continue to step up alongside them year after year.”
