As excitement builds for the 2026 International Plowing Match and Rural Expo (IPM) Sept. 22-26, Bruce Power is proud to reaffirm its support as a major sponsor of the event and encourages residents, employees and visitors from across Ontario to attend this historic celebration in Bruce County.
The 107th edition of one of Ontario’s most celebrated rural events takes place on a huge plot of land, 800 acres west of Walkerton. The event returns to the same site that hosted the IPM in 1976 and 1993 and will mark the 50th anniversary of the first International Plowing Match in Bruce County.
Thousands of visitors are expected to attend the five-day event, which will feature world-class plowing competitions, parades, concerts, demonstrations, agricultural showcases, a vibrant tented city of exhibitors and vendors, and countless opportunities to experience the people, businesses and communities that make Bruce County unique.
Bruce Power announced a $150,000 contribution to support the event and has been a long-time Platinum Sponsor, reflecting its commitment to the agricultural community and rural Ontario.
