Bruce Power is launching a local population survey this summer for residents living within 10 km of our site and for those who participate in our Environmental Monitoring Program.
All residents who live within 10 km to Bruce Power will receive a postcard survey invitation by regular mail. The survey invitation will be mailed out to residents in July and will invite residents to use the QR code located on the postcard to complete the survey online.
Alternatively, for those who cannot complete the survey online, a telephone survey can be scheduled by calling 1-519-XXX-XXXX or by picking up a paper copy of the survey at Bruce Power’s Visitors Centre, 3394 Bruce County Rd. 20. Completed paper copies can be returned using the return envelope provided.
The survey is an opportunity for Bruce Power to gain an understanding of the residents living in the communities that are close proximity to our site. The survey gathers information about the food and water that is consumed and further details on lifestyle activities like fishing and swimming.
A summary of results will be made available on the Bruce Power website after all data has been analyzed, later this year.
For households that completed the survey, a letter will be sent in late fall that includes a summary of the results. These results help Bruce Power’s Environmental Monitoring Program to better understand local lifestyle and dietary characteristics.
All households who complete the survey will receive $10 in Kincardine BIA Bucks as a thank you.
We appreciate your participation. The survey will close on September 9, 2025
