Indigenous Relations Supplier Network tours Saugeen Ojibway Nation communities

Bruce Power joined members of the Indigenous Relations Supplier Network (IRSN) for tours of the Saugeen Ojibway Nation (SON) communities, which consist of the Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation and Saugeen First Nation. The tour was led by Michael Chegahno, Energy Manager from the SON Environment Office.

The group learned of the importance of the environment, priorities, and current initiatives for each community and was an opportunity for IRSN members to share ideas with other suppliers and to strategize on ways to collaborate with the goal of providing sustainable opportunities and investment for both communities along the path of True Reconciliation.
