Student programs at Bruce Power
At Bruce Power, our student programs play an important role in our overall resourcing and industry awareness strategy. For many students, these programs will provide their first working opportunity and exposure to the energy industry.
The student work terms are intended to encourage student interest and knowledge regarding Bruce Power and the nuclear industry in general.

Bruce Power offers three types of student programs
Development Student positions are temporary, four or eight month opportunities for students which provide training and experience directly related to the student’s academic program or skills training at the post-secondary level.
Summer Students perform general work that is not necessarily related to the student’s field of study. Consideration for these positions are only given to students who are currently enrolled in a post secondary institution and who plan to return to their studies in the fall.
The High School Co-op program is aimed at giving local high school students work experience in various disciplines in an effort to help them select a career.
